Askable / faq

Good questions about Askable.

The essentials, without the small print getting in your way.

What fees will I pay?

New offers have a £0.50, $0.50 or €0.50 payment processing fee on top, charged only if accepted. A £3 offer totals £3.50. You see the breakdown before sending and when reviewing a counter. Creators keep 80% of the offer; Askable takes 20%. Full purchase refunds include the processing fee. Tips retain their separate disclosed processing treatment.

Do creators have to accept every offer?

No. A creator can accept, counter once, or decline for any reason. Ignored offers expire after 48 hours without a charge.

Are answers public?

No. Your questions and paid answers stay private from other marketplace users. Authorized staff may access them for support, safety and disputes.

Do I need Stripe to publish?

No. You can publish and receive unpaid offers first. Stripe payout setup is required before accepting or making a binding counter.

What does anonymous mean?

The creator sees Anonymous customer. Askable still knows your identity for payment, safety and support. Reviews and tips respect the transaction's identity choice.
