The creator chooses to accept
Creators can accept, counter once or decline. You’re not charged for a declined or expired offer.

Your saved payment method is charged after acceptance. Complete any required bank confirmation; the delivery clock starts when payment succeeds.

When will I be charged?
Sending an offer does not charge your card or place a hold. Your saved payment method is charged your offer plus a £0.50, $0.50 or €0.50 payment processing fee if the creator accepts. A £3 offer totals £3.50. If they decline or the offer expires, you are not charged.
What happens if a creator makes a counter?
A creator can make one counter. You review the revised offer, payment processing fee and total, and explicitly approve the charge before payment. You can decline, or let the counter expire after 48 hours, without a charge.
Will every question get an answer?
Creators choose which questions to accept. They can decline or leave an offer to expire. Payment and the delivery obligation begin only after acceptance and confirmed payment.
How long will my answer take?
You choose an available maximum delivery time before sending your offer. The clock starts when payment succeeds. Rush options may be available; your agreed deadline is shown on the question.
Who can see my question and answer?
They are private from other marketplace users. Authorized Askable staff may access content for support, safety or disputes. Where a creator accepts anonymous questions, you can hide your identity from that creator; Askable still knows it for payments and safety.
What if my answer is late or will not open?
A missed paid delivery deadline starts the full-refund process; a refund is complete only when confirmed by the payment provider. Report objective delivery problems from your question within 72 hours of delivery. You can contact support for safety concerns or exceptional review.
